The primary activity of VM2 is the import and distribution of food and non-food consumer products.

VM2 strives to integrate environmental, social, and economic factors into its business strategy and operations with the aim of achieving long-term balance and reducing the negative impact on the planet and society.

In all our operations, we aim to align ecological, social, and economic aspects to achieve long-term benefits, including cost reduction, improving reputation, and contributing to environmental preservation and social responsibility.

Our approach to sustainability is based on 5 key principles.

Environmental sustainability

By using energy-efficient technologies and renewable energy sources, we achieve a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. During 2024, VM2 installed solar power plants on the administrative building in Rudeš and the production-logistics center Luka. The next step in enhancing environmental sustainability is the transition to an e-vehicle fleet and the installation of charging stations for electric vehicles.

Health, Safety, and Workers' Rights

By ensuring safe working conditions, protective equipment, and promoting health and safety at the workplace, we achieve employee satisfaction. At all times, VM2 respects human rights and provides good working conditions.

By using advanced technologies such as WMS (Warehouse Management System), smart lighting management, modern temperature and humidity monitoring, and advanced forklift chargers, we achieve greater efficiency, reduce costs, and save energy.
